Welcome to the Fosse Team.

We are a team of seven parishes with eight churches lying north of the city of Leicester and to the east of the ancient Roman road the Fosse Way. We are part of the Church of England and in the Diocese of Leicester. The team includes the churches of Barkby, East Goscote, Queniborough, Ratcliffe-on-the-WreakeRearsby, Syston, Thrussington and Thurmaston.

Our vision is to be a Christian presence in the heart of each community, centred on Christ, serving others, proclaiming the gospel, being accessible and offering a welcome to all in Christ’s name. We work creatively together as both clergy and lay people to bring this vision to life.

If you’re in the area and you want to join us we would be very happy to see you. Each church is individual and unique within its town or village setting and together we offer a wide range of services.

Those months when there are five Sundays there is normally only one service in the whole Team – at 10.00am. Details of when those Sundays fall and where the services will take place can be found in the diary pages of the website of St Michael’s, Thurmaston.
